1969- Lotus Turbine

Zoom into the world of Hot Wheels with the Lotus Turbine! Introduced in 1969 as part of the new Grand Prix Series, this miniature marvel was meticulously crafted after the #70 car driven by Graham Hill for Andy Granatelli's STP team in the 1968 Indianapolis 500. 🏁

Produced exclusively in the Hong Kong plant and available for around two years, the Lotus Turbine comes with the iconic blue-tinted windscreen and a sleek silver painted intake vent just behind the cockpit.

It flaunts a spectrum of colors and features a pre-applied "Hot Wheels" decal on the lower right side. Inside, you'll usually find a black interior, but keep your eyes peeled for the rare champagne interior models.

If you stumble upon one with a white interior, consider yourself lucky, as these are exceedingly scarce. This Indy car is often spotted with an unpainted metal base, but there are those elusive versions with a black-painted base. #LotusTurbine #HotWheels #IndyCar #Collectibles
