Sweet collection that just arrived from Gail in California! Really excited about this mail call — the highlights are definitely this beautiful Rose Custom Volkswagen and a sharp Magenta Custom Corvette.
The Custom Volkswagen was one of the original 1968 “Sweet 16” Hot Wheels releases and has always stood out with its lowered stance, exposed engine, and custom California look. Rose is such a clean classic color on this casting.
The Custom Corvette is another favorite from the early Redline era, based on the 1968 Corvette and featuring that sleek long-body styling. Magenta examples always display incredibly well and really pop in a collection.
