Collection Details

Type:collection

Collection from Chris in Colorado! These 1973 “Enamels,” also known as “House Paints,” marked the end of the Spectraflame era. Only a few new castings were released that year, with many older ones reworked and renamed. The solid enamel paints gave cars a fresh look but were prone to chipping, making them tough to find in great condition today. 1973 also introduced the “Through Hole” wheel design — another detail that makes this short-run year stand out for collectors.
