1968- Custom Firebird!

Casting Details
The 1968 Custom Firebird.
This casting was based on the 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible, giving it that classic open-top muscle car look with a custom Hot Wheels twist. The real Pontiac Firebird was introduced as a “pony car” to compete directly with the Ford Mustang during the height of the muscle car era.
Hot Wheels added their own flair with a raised suspension, bold styling, and signature Spectraflame paint, making it stand out both on the track and in display cases. Like many of the early Redlines, it was produced in both the U.S. and Hong Kong, with subtle variations.
A true staple from the original lineup and always a fun one to add to the collection.
